Project Overview
Newkirk was the primary electrical contractor for this wastewater treatment plant constructed in the early 1970's. Since its construction, Newkirk has been involved in almost every plant modification and upgrade the plant has required. These projects have demanded the utilization of electricians skilled in the use of PVC-coated conduit systems, as well as an extensive knowledge of wastewater treatment instrumentation systems.
Most recently, Newkirk provided complete electrical installation for a solid waste-to-energy biomass power generation plant at the facility. This included all electrical for the digester and forthcoming engines. Another recent project was the full design-build of the sewage burner. Newkirk continues to provide ongoing maintenance services for the plant.
